RE-IMAGINING CHURCH

October 13-14, 2023

  • interested in the fundamentals of simple/organic church?

  • rethinking what doing church could look like in your congregational scene?

  • seeking to cultivate households of faith among specific people groups?

  • struggling as a too passive or burned out GenZ, millennial or boomer?

ELEMENTAL2017 in Toronto, ELEMENTALWEST2018 in Calgary and ELEMENTALEAST2019 in Moncton explored how the gospel can further move across Canada and to the nations. We explore 'elemental' themes of Kingdom, organic church and making disciples. Come join the conversation!

Many today are seeking to re-imagine the life of their congregation but find themselves stuck in the very traditions they are trying to energize/transform.

Many feel disconnected from congregational life and isolated but have a deep heart for God and finding new paths for Christ-centered community and mission.

There is a hunger for new rhythms of grace. Less information and more inspiration and relational connection.

* Nones and Dones are not only sociological terms but represent the lives and faith stories of real people. Nones are those who are religiously unaffiliated with any particular faith tradition, though many are interested in spirituality. Dones are those who have maintained their religious identity (many of them are Christian), but have left established, institutional religious settings such as church .

Who are Pathfinders? We are an association of friends across Canada many of whom have lead in congregations, campus ministries and workplace outreach. As a non-profit organization in its 18th year we seek to equip Christ followers to be fruitful and multiply. We seek to cultivate Kingdom pathways inside congregations as well as beyond where first century forms such as house church are being rediscovered and new tools such as online discovery and discipling are touching a new generation. Come join the conversation and find your path forward ...
